AEC receives Aerospace Education Excellence Award

Alternative Education Center (AEC), through the International Junior Writers Club (IJWC) and its adviser, recently received Aerospace Education Excellence Award for 2016-2017 from Civil Air Patrol (CAP) National Headquarters, Maxwell AFB, Alabama. AEC has been integrating aerospace education into its English classes using CAP and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) resources since the beginning of this school year. The writing outputs of some aerospace education-integrated activities were sent to AEC students' international learning partners for their revising and editing activities.
